I've been trying really hard to think of somewhere fun, interesting and bad to go for the field trip, and failed miserably! The only thing I could think of was a day/night betting at the dog races. Ok possibly not the most exciting or original idea (like smoking whatever and running round a field naked like I read on someone elses blog) but good fun all the same. To be honest i'm not too fussed where we go, as long as it's not paintballing. (Although the idea of inflicting pain on some innocent person could be interesting). So please don't choose to do it, i'd be gutted!!!!!!!

Just wanted to comment on your suggestion for a field trip to the dog races. Take a look at some of the messages and images on http://forums.virtualfestivals.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t71299.html. Greyhound racing is a really cruel ‘sport’. When their racing days have finished many of these dogs turn up at animal sanctuaries in an appalling condition. Some even have their ears cut off to prevent their racing number being identified and traced back to the owner. Going to dog racing perpetuates this appalling abuse of animals.
